Christmas Tour of Homes Dec. 3 & 4

The annual Chandler Christmas Tour of Homes is this Sunday, December 3, from 2pm-5pm, and Monday, December 4, 6pm-9pm. The event is sponsored by Women's Unity Fellowship and proceeds benefit the Brenda Epperson Memorial Scholarship, God's Open Hands and the Chandler Public Library. Admission is $10. Tickets can be purchased at Chandler Drug, Chandler Public Library, or at the door.

Tour homeowners include Drs. Thomas and Debra Cherry, 518 Southcreek; Larry and Betty Davis, 517 South Creek; George and Sue Lemmert, 14520 FM 2010; George and Becky Grantham, 900 Stonebrook; and Billy and Patti Fenner, 13463 Oakwood.

This year's event includes a Tour of Trees in the Heritage Hall at the First United Methodist Church. The hours will coincide with the Tour of Homes and be extended through December 5 & 6, 6pm-8pm. Admission is free. Visitors are asked, however, to bring canned goods to "vote" for their favorite tree decorated by local clubs, organizations and businesses. Refreshments will be served and vendors will offer unique gift items. The drawing for door prizes will be held Monday night in Heritage Hall. All canned goods will be donated to God's Open Hands.
