Go to www.axa-achievement.com Minority/Disadvantaged Scholarships for Architecture - Dec. 7 nomination deadline-In this 2-part process you must first be nominated by an individual who can confirm your interest in architecture and endorse your qualifications to meet the demands of the curriculum. Eligible candidates will be sent an application form Two Ten Footwear Foundation College Scholarship Program - Dec. 15 deadline - for a dependent of a parent who is currently employed in the footwear; leather or allied industries for at least 2 years, or a student who has worked not less than 500 hours in the industries in the last year. Two Ten Footwear Foundation Footwear Design Scholarship Program - Dec. 15 deadline - demonstrate an interest and commitment to a career in footwear design; plan to attend an approved college; display financial need; are a US citizen. Rebekah Assembly of Texas - Dec. 31 deadline - for a Texas resident planning to attend a two- or four-year college. Based on academic ability, community service, personal development, and financial need. Submit application, transcript, typed letter outlining goals to be reached as a result of furthering your education; 3 letters of reference. William C. Doherty and John T. Donelon Scholarship Fund - Dec. 31 deadline - for a student of legally adopted child of an active, retired or deceased letter carrier NALC member in good standing.
