James Hugh Stepherson

James Hugh Stepherson, 78, Brownsboro, died Saturday, December 2, 2006, at his residence.

Graveside services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2006, at Jennings Mountain Cemetery with Pete Chapman officiating under direction of Gordon-Foster- Brown Funeral Home, Athens.

Mr. Stepherson was born Thursday, February 23, 1928, in Trinity. He was a school teacher and a former Mason and Boy Scout. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Ruth Stepherson of Brownsboro; sons, Joe Stepherson and wife Mellisa of Brownsboro and J.N. Stepherson and wife Lydia of Anna; granddaughter, Lara; grandson, Dylan; and a host of other relatives and friends.
