“How the Penguins Saved Christmas”

JUST REMEMBER CHRISTMAS LIVES WITHIN ALL OF US -- The Chandler Elementary second grade class performed two shows of “How the Penguins Saved Christmas” Tuesday, one for fellow students and an evening performance for parents and family. It appears that on Christmas Eve, of all nights, Santa Claus has amnesia. It’s up to the penguins to restore his memory in time to save Christmas. Please Santa! You’ve got to remem- ber! Remember that Christmas lives within all of us! With the encouragement of all the penguins and the special powers of a wise old penguin Santa’s memory was restored and Christmas was once again safe. A musical send-off had Santa on his way to deliver his precious bundles to all the children. The program was directed by C. J. Hughes, pictured at the left rear of her penguins.
