“Hope is no Panacea”

Well, he’s at it once more. There is a strong temptation to totally ignore the hatred-laden output of Mr. Chas. Hall, but I am aware that there is an element of “Statesman” readers who probably relish this rubbish. Thus, a response is required. One wonders what the institution that awarded Mr. Hall his Doctorate in Education thinks about their former student now. Of course, that institution may be like the University of Colorado who employs purveyors of hate directed at their own country just as Mr. Hall does. On the other hand, we can hope that it is as embarrassed by Mr. Hall as I am by the “Dixie Chicks” whose lead singer is from my home town. There’s more.

I attempted to find a word or phrase that better describes the hate embedded in Mr. Hall’s verbage, but it doesn’t exist. He is so bitter that he “hates” his own political party, not to mention the opposition. All this bitterness makes you wonder what he really thinks of his own country. Can you imagine what shape this country would be in with people like him in positions of power?

During my career I have served as a staff member to many high ranking military and civilian leaders. None were like him. Thank God!
