CHRISTMAS FELLOWSHIP
Kappa Pi Chapter of Delta Kappa Gamma Society met at the home of Lynda McQuaid for their December chapter meeting and luncheon on Thursday, December 7. Members brought covered dishes and enjoyed turkey and dressing with all the trimmings. President Lou Brown shared personal related memories before she read the poem, “A Cup of Christmas Tea” by Tom Hegg. Benita Carver led the group in singing Christmas songs and carols. Members had a purse scavenger hunt for donations for the new Alpha State headquarters building. The monthly project was bringing supplies for Christian Women’s Job Corp, in Tyler. Members enjoyed the food, fellowship and Christmas traditions.
