As we enter the final weekend prior to Christmas, let each of us take time to remember what the true meaning of Christmas is, the birth of our Savior, God’s Promised Redeemer.

Sunday morning we will be holding our regular services. While Sunday evening, we will be having our annual Candlelight Service at 6:00 p.m. which is always a beautiful service. It adds that extra reminder of why we celebrate Christmas.

The performances last Saturday evening and Sunday morning of the musical drama, A Christmas Prayer, were spectacular!

Congratulations to Tommy Earl and the entire choir for these wonderful performances. The beautiful solos performed by Larry Tedford, Lauren Fletcher, Rhonda Mc Callie and Leslie Sexton were inspiring.

The drama which went along with the musical was excellent as well. Many thanks to Ray Deal for pulling the drama portion all together.

Leslie Sexton has been quite a busy lady recently. Not only did she do an outstanding job on the solo in the adult musical, but she has also been coaching the children for their performance as well.

Last Sunday evening, the children put on a wonderful performance of “An ADVENT erous Christmas.” Needless to say, it was darling! Nothing is cuter or sweeter than young children singing God’s Praises.

Thank you Leslie for your efforts and thank you to all of the children who shared their voices with us during that performance.

We ask you to keep several of our members on your prayer list during this holiday season. They are Hallee Dulaney, Billy Lockwood, Marchaun Curley, Larry Johnson, Sr. and Pete Avediakian. Also remember all of those who are traveling to families and friends during this upcoming weekend.
