Roy S. May

Services for Roy S. May, 93, Chandler, were held Friday, December 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. in Chandler Memorial Funeral Home chapel. Rev. Bob Sexton officiated. A private family burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth was held at 3:30 Friday, under direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. May died December 19, 2006 at Trinity Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas. He was born August 31, 1913 in Dallas, Texas. He worked as a butcher for Swift Co. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, very active in the Baptist Men’s Association and taught Sunday School at West Lake Baptist Church.

Survivors are daughters, Doris May of Ft. Worth and Nancy Henson of Saginaw, Texas; sister, Virginia Davis of Arlington, Texas; 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
