Dana Murry Green Services for Dana Murry Green, 70, Brownsboro, formerly of Athens, were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 21 at Carroll-Lehr Funeral Home chapel, Athens, with the Rev. Tommy Weems officiating. Burial was in Athens Cemetery. Mrs. Green died December 19, 2006 in a Tyler hospital. She was born Feb. 14, 1936, in Athens to the late Walter Edward and Marjorie Louella Lambert Murry. She lived in Athens most of her life prior to moving to Brownsboro in 1989. She retired in 1999 as a bookkeeper for Crown Office Supply in Tyler. She attended Rock Hill Baptist Church of Brownsboro. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Billy Don Green, and stepfather, Luther E. Green. Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Billy Ray Green, Brownsboro; son, Daryl Ray Green, Beebe, AR; daughters, Deborah Elaine Bell, Denton, Donna Lynn Matthews and Darlena Kay Vandiver, both of Brownsboro, and DeLaine Mae Duree, Granbury; sister, Patricia Elaine Thompson, Irving; 11 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Ron Ellis, Robert Vandiver, Marcus Albright, James Green, Donald Foster and Michael Albright. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Green, Dan Roy Murry, Michael Murry, John Allen Murry, Randy Gee, Kevin Whitus and Darrell Whitus.
