Bears fall to Edgewood

After falling behind 20-7 to end the first period, the Bears’ uphill comeback climb ended five points short. Edgewood edged the Bears 58-23 in last Tuesday night’s action.

Brownsboro rallied back in the second period holding Edgewood to just 8 points while scoring 12 offensively.

Down by nine entering the second half the Bears outscored Edgewood 18-13 in the third period to trail 37-41 entering the final period.

In a back and forth period the Bears could not overcome the Bulldogs lead.

Four players scored in double figures for the Bears. Seth Martin led the Bears in scoring with 12 points. Colin Thompson and Andrew Adair each had 11 points while Tristian Warren added 10. Thompson nailed the only three of the game for Brownsboro.

Thursday the Bears will take part in the Longview Tournament. Brownsboro opens district play in Canton on January 11.
