Iota Delta celebrates Founders' Day

The Iota Delta chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International recently participated in the Founders' Day Celebration of the Smith County Chapters of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.
The Delta Kappa Gamma Society International pro- motes professional and personal growth of women educators and excellence in education.
The organization honors women who have given or who evidence a potential for distinctive service in any field of education.
The organization also funds scholarship studies for women in education.
New Initiates for the Iota Delta chapter are Stacey Dickson of Chandler Intermediate School and Judy Parris.
This year's Achievement Award was presented to Elaine Wesley of Brownsboro High School.
