At First Baptist we are a Bible believing and teaching church. It is our desire to see Jesus radically change lives. Do you struggle with a hurt? Jesus can heal that hurt. The Sunday morning service was an especially wonderful one as Brother Bill took his message from First Corinthians, the 13th chapter and spoke to us about love. It was an awesome message, just what we needed. Brother Stephen Vestal was again a welcomed visitor, leading the music and then, himself, offering an inspiring message as he sang, "...by His wounds, we are here... More ... The first ever movie night sponsored by the Youth was a big success. Approximately 25-30 church members turned out to see A Night at the Museum. The movie was free but the youth raised some funds through selling popcorn, pizza and soft drinks. More ... Sermon July 29th: A Kingdom Minded Church is a Prayerful Church -Ezekiel 32:30-31 "Show me thy ways, O Lord; teach me thy paths." -Psalms 25:4 Ms. Megan Frederick filled in for vacationing Ken Reid, and led the congregation in the hymns as well as singing a solo. It was great to see her smiling face and hearing her beautiful voice again. More ... Sunday: We had over 400 in the morning service for another exciting day of worship at WLBC. We're so grateful for all that God continues to do, and for the spirit of excitement and anticipation that is present week by week.
