The youth sponsored a New Year’s Eve party after worship services Sunday night. Those attending enjoyed roasting weiners over an open fire, Frito pie, snacks and desserts, along with friendly competition in the games played. Most importantly, special prayer was held ushering in the New Year. We appreciate our youth and the youth workers for sponsoring the event. Everyone had a great time.

The adult game night will be held Friday night, January 5. Bring a favorite dish and come to have a good time.

Bro. David Darst will be preaching in our morning and evening worship services Sunday, January 7. He is coming in view of all for full time pastor. Please be in prayer concerning this important matter in our church.

A revival will be held Sunday through Wednesday, beginning

January 14. Wade and Jennifer Burleigh from First Century Ministries will conduct the services. Worship services will be at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 14, and at 6:30 p.m., Monday through Wednesday. Dinner will be served prior to the services Monday through Wednesday. Everyone is invited to attend.

Josh Seale, Jana Sherman, and Johnny Oden celebrated birthdays this week.

Misty Bridges reported a very successful mission trip to Mexico. Four hundred and thirty individuals came to know Christ as Savior.

Paul and Cathy Carver and family enjoyed a ski trip to Red River, New Mexico over the holidays.

Our normal services and activities will resume this week. We invite anyone who does not have a church home to join us in Bible study on Sunday mornings at 9:45, and the worship service at 11:00. Evening services are at 6:00 p.m. with prayer meeting and Bible study on Wednesdays at 6:15 p.m. Our children’s and youth activities are also held on Wednesdays at 6:00 p.m.
