JV Bearettes

Improving to 14-2 on the season the JV Bearettes swept the Bearette Double Header last weekend.

Playing against Grace to open the double header the Bearettes rolled to a 38-16 victory. Brownsboro outscored the visiting Lady Cougars 18-1 in the first period. Sabrina Bradley led the Bearettes in scoring with 15 points.

In their second game of the double header the Bearettes defeated Whitehouse 44-30.

LeCandace Bell led the way for the Bearettes with 21 points, nailing two 3-pointers. Stefani Vause also nailed a three for the Bearettes.

Freshman Bearettes

Hot first period starts in back to back games led the Freshman Bearettes to victories over LaPoyner and Whitehouse during the annual Bearettes double header.

Playing LaPoyner on Thursday the Bearettes took a 10-5 first period lead before winning the contest 26-13.

Catie Collins and Chelsea Chambers each nailed a three for the Bearettes in the win. Chambers led the Bearettes in scoring with nine points.

Jessica Caviness led the Bearettes (8-5) with nine points in their 36-21 victory over Whitehouse.
