Using a press defense the Lady Cats took the early lead and never looked back. Whitehouse ended the first period with an 11-9 lead and finished the half leading 22- 19.

In the second half of play neither team scored in double figures as the Lady Cats press defense held the Bearettes to just three period points. All three Brownsboro points were scored by Chelsey Chimney.

Brownsboro tried rallying back in the fourth period but could not overcome the eight point deficit. The Bearettes outscored Whitehouse 12-11 in the final period.
