Nominations sought for area Citizen of the Year

With the Chandler Brownsboro Area Chamber of Commerce's annual banquet just a few short weeks away, organizers are busy securing nominations for Area Citizen of the Year, Area Association/Organization of the Year, Area Volunteer Firefighter of the Year, and Area Police Officer of the Year to be awarded the night of the banquet, Thursday, February 8, at the Chandler Community Center.

Nominations may come from any town served by the CBACC that does not already have a Chamber of Commerce.

Nomination forms, found on page 6 of this newspaper, can be mailed to the Chamber at P.O. Box 1500, Chandler, TX 75758. Deadline for mailed in entries is Tuesday, January 23.

Entries can also be dropped off at Chandler City Hall, Brownsboro City Hall, or the Murchison Branch of the First State Bank of Brownsboro. Deadline for dropped off entries is January 25.

Banquet tickets are now available for $14 and can be purchased at Chandler City Hall, Chandler Feed & Seed, Citizen's National Bank in Chandler, San Pedro's Restaurant, Brownsboro Feed & Seed, 1st State Bank in Brownsboro, and Splawn Sales in Murchison.
