The Final Curtain Players will begin "Dancing Through Life," Friday and Saturday, January 19 and 20, in the Brownsboro High School Theater located behind Bear Stadium. Written and directed by FCP students, the show promises to be a treat for all who attend.

The Henderson County 4-H Clover Kids Club will be having a Fund Raiser on January 26- 28 at the Rifle Building at the Henderson County Fair Park Complex in Athens. Contact Larissa Mattingly at 903-477- 6405 for an appointment or any Clover Kid member or parent for coupons. Country Portraits will be made at a special cost of $10.00 per family for an 8X10 or you may give a $10.00 donation to the Clover Kids Club. These are great pictures of your kids in old fashioned clothing or you may bring your own for them. Families may also want a group shot of the whole family, too.

On Super Bowl Sunday, February 4, the First Baptist Church of Chandler will be holding a special "tail gate party" starting at 3:00 p.m., in the fellowship hall with hamburgers and hot dogs and all the trimmings!! Afterward, everyone will adjourn to the sanctuary to watch the Super Bowl on the overhead screen. (Snacks and soft drinks only in the sanctuary, please.) During the halftime, a short devotional will be presented. This event is open to everyone in the community. Come join us for a wonderful day of fun, fellowship and football.

A Senior Lock-In meeting for the Brownsboro High School class of 2007 will be held Thurs., Jan. 18, at 7pm, in the BHS Little Theatre.

The Bread of Life Distribution (BOLD) of food takes place the third Saturday of the month and will be on Sat., Jan. 20, 8am-5pm, at the Calvary Baptist Church in Brownsboro for those in the Brownsboro, Murchison and Moore Station area. The Tyler Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Chapter 932, meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at Traditions Restaurant, on South Broadway, at 1900 hours.
