Area Chamber annual banquet slated for Feb. 8

The Chandler Brownsboro Area Chamber of Commerce awards banquet will be held Thursday, Feb. 8, at the Chandler Community Center.

A silent auction will begin at 6:00 p.m., with a fajita dinner catered by San Pedro's Mexican Restaurant served at 7:00 p.m. Chamber members, all citizens and organizations are invited to attend the yearly event.

Master of Ceremonies for the evening will be Reverend Bobby Proctor of the Greater Life Church, of Chandler.

Keynote speaker will be Reverend David Luckert, of Chandler 1st United Methodist Church.

Awards this year will be given for Area Citizen of the Year, Area Association/Organization of the Year, Area Volunteer Firefighter of the Year, and Area Police Officer of the Year. The deadline for nominations for these awards is nearing. Nominations can be dropped off at Chandler City Hall, Brownsboro City Hall, or the Murchison Branch of the First State Bank of Brownsboro. For your convenience a nomination form can be found on page 6 of this issue.

Tickets are $14 per person and can be purchased at Chandler City Hall, Chandler Feed & Seed, Citizen's National Bank in Chandler, San Pedro's Restaurant, Brownsboro Feed & Seed, 1st State Bank in Brownsboro, and Splawn Sales in Murchison.
