What's Happening A Chili Dinner will be served up by the Brownsboro Volunteer Fire Department, Sat., Jan. 27, 11am-2pm, at Faith Baptist Church, Brownsboro. Adults are $6, and children are $4. Additional donations are and will be appreciated. Donations of pies, cakes or cookies will be a great help. The Henderson County 4-H Clover Kids Club will be having a Fund Raiser on January 26- 28 at the Rifle Building at the Henderson County Fair Park Complex in Athens. Country Portraits will be made at a special cost of $10.00 per family for an 8X10 or you may give a $10.00 donation to the Clover Kids Club. These are great pictures of your kids in old fashioned clothing or you may bring your own for them. Families may also want a group shot of the whole family, too. On Super Bowl Sunday, February 4, the First Baptist Church of Chandler will be holding a special "tail gate party" starting at 3:00 p.m., in the fellowship hall with hamburgers and hot dogs and all the trimmings!! Afterward, everyone will adjourn to the sanctuary to watch the Super Bowl on the overhead screen. (Snacks and soft drinks only in the sanctuary, please.) During the halftime, a short devotional will be presented. This event is open to everyone in the community. Come join us for a wonderful day of fun, fellowship and football.
