Thomison benefit football game

Tucker Thomison
After a year away the Texas X-Treme semi-professional football team returns to Brownsboro. Not only are the X-Treme coming back they are also coming home with a big heart.

On Saturday, February 10 the X-Treme will take the field at Bear Stadium for a special cause.

All proceeds from the game will be donated to the Tucker Thomison family. Tucker is the son of Brownsboro High School teacher and coach Ty Thomison and was diagnosed with leukemia in August and has recently undergone treatments.

Tucker and his family will be present at the game and Tucker will be on the field during the opening coin toss. Everyone is encouraged to come out and support the Thomison family and the Texas X-Treme.

Tickets prices are $7 for adults and $4 for students. Game time begins at 2:00pm. The X-Treme will host the Arkansas Silver Storm. Any additional donations would be greatly appreciated.

The entire X-Treme organization thanks BISD Superintendent Elton Caldwell and Athletic Director John Settle for all their help and support.

The regular season begins on February 24. A season schedule will be released at a later date in The Statesman. At least 5 former Brownsboro High School football players will be playing for the XTreme this season.
