Rep. Betty Brown appointed to four House committees

Speaker Tom Craddick announced Friday committee assignments for the 80th Legislative Session.

Rep. Betty Brown remains on the House Appropriations Committee and the related role of Agriculture & Live- stock Committee budget and oversight chair.

She will also serve on the Local and Consent Calendars Committee and was named as Vice-Chair for the Redistricting Committee.

Representative Brown is one of only two Representatives to serve on four committees.

Serving her fifth term, Rep. Brown represents District 4, which is comprised of Kaufman and Henderson Counties.
