LOCKS OF LOVE --

Madison Anderson, of Brownsboro decided her New Year's Resolution would be to help others in 2007.

On December 30, she started the year with a new hair cut.

Madison, age 6, had 11 inches of hair cut by Leslie Adair at Slim Clippins, in Brownsboro, to donate to "Locks of Love."

Madison is the daughter of Wes and Tammy Anderson.

"Locks of Love" is a non-profit organization that makes prosthetics for children who have lost their hair. Human hair is used to make hair pieces for cancer survivors and alopecia patients through "Locks of Love."

Madison is happy to be able to help other children who are less fortunate than she, and hopes it might inspire others to donate their hair to "Locks of Love." (Courtesy Photos)
