Construction of new BHS vocational technical facility underway

BREAKING GROUND -- Dirt work on the new Brownsboro High Vocational-Technical building began Tuesday, Jan. 30. According to project manager Johnny Craig, of WRL Contractors, in Flint, the select fill is in place, work on the building's foundation will begin. The new 20,067 sq. ft. facility, to be built at the southern end of the high school band's practice field between the high school and elementary school will house the Agriculture and Industrial/Business Technology classes. Depending on the weather, the building should be ready to move into some time in the fall of 2007.
