Semi-pro football benefit for Tucker Thomison

This Saturday, February 10 the Texas X-Treme will take the field at Bear Stadium for a special cause.

All proceeds from the game will be donated to the Tucker Thomison family. Tucker is the son of Brownsboro High School teacher and coach Ty Thomison and was diagnosed with leukemia in August and has recently undergone treatments.

Tucker and his family will be present at the game and Tucker will be on the field during the opening coin toss. Everyone is encouraged to come out and support the Thomison family and the Texas X-Treme.

This is not the first time the X-Treme have hosted games for special causes. The XTreme and members of the TUFLhave held games to aid young people with special needs, the Susan B. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, various Toy Bowls prior to Christmas to aid underprivi- leged children and recently held their Third Annual Martin Luther King benefit game.

Tickets prices are $7 for adults and $4 for students. Game time begins at 2:00pm. The X-Treme will host the Arkansas Silver Storm. Both teams are members of the Texas United Football League. Any additional donations would be greatly appreciated.
