I love to right Valentines,
It's my favorate thing to do,
And this is that special Holiday
I get to do it too.
by TexasDesselles (9 yrs old) "TheRamblingRedRosesonthePrairie"
Red, red roses on the prairie
Will bloom while the moon is still bright.
Red, red roses on the prairie
Will bloom for I love you tonight.
The rambling red roses on the prairie
Are blooming for you and for me.
The rambling red roses on the prairie
Are fragrant 'cause you're close to me.
They smile beneath the silvery moon;
They flower while we sing this tune.
The rambling red roses on the prairie
Are lovely because you love me. --ThomasHoward "ThinkingAboutYou"
The rain was drumming against the roof
As I lay my head down upon my pillow
And, as I began to relax,
I found myself
Thinking about you.
The rain slowed and was dancing across the deck
As I snuggled deeper beneath my night covers
And, as I began to relax,
I found myself
Thinking about you.
The rain was now drenching the rose garden
As I felt myself begin to slip into slumber,
And as I began to drift off to sleep
I found myself
Thinking about you.
The rain continued to come down in torrents
As I tossed and turned in my empty bed,
And I began to mourn your absence
As I found myself, again ...
Thinking about you. --LindaAmos
