We had a great day of worship Sunday -- good congregational singing, and beautiful special music entitled, "We Shall Behold Him," presented by the adult choir. The choir continues to grow in number, but there is always room for one more. If anyone would like to join, rehearsals are held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoons.

Bro. David Darst and his family are now settled into their new home and are on the ministry field. Along with being a great preacher, the Lord has also blessed him with musical talent. His special music is an inspiration to us all.

We are continually blessed with several guests in our worship services each week.

Mark your calendar for the Valentine banquet sponsored by the deacons on Friday night, February 16, at 6:00 p.m.

Remember the church work day scheduled for February 17. Put on those work clothes and come and help with needed repairs and clean-up.

The Top of the Hill Gang enjoyed a delicious lunch at China King in Tyler last Friday. There were 20 in attendance.

The church is seeking a part-time secretary to work four hours a day, Monday through Friday. Anyone interested may send a resume outlining education, experience, and qualifications to the attention of the Personnel Committee, Faith Baptist Church, P.O. Box 1384, Chandler, TX 75758. A job description is available upon request.

Bettye Redfearn and Pam Wyatt have returned from a cruise to the Bahamas.

Happy birthday to Rick Quinechet this week.

Congratulations to Paul and Betty Peavy who will be celebrating their wedding anniversary on February 14.

The Wednesday night dinners are again underway. Dinner is served from 5:00- 6:00 p.m.

We are having some wonderful Bible studies on Sunday mornings at 9:45, followed by our worship service at 11:00 a.m., and we invite anyone who does not have a church home to come join us. There is a place for everyone.
