Mr. & Mrs. Joe Mark Lewis

Susie Milum of Lufkin became the bride of Joe Mark Lewis of Brownsboro on November 4, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Athenian Room at The Inn on the Hill, with Randy Jones officiating the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy Milum. She attends Trinity Valley Community College.

The groom is the son of Joyce W. Lewis and the late Allyene Lewis of Brownsboro. He is employed at Goodyear Tire Company.

The bride was given in marriage by her son, Justin Mosby of Lufkin.

The Athenian Room was decorated with red and white roses. Tables were decorated with centerpieces made by the matron of honor, Crystal Rhone of Grapeland.

Music was supplied by Tracy Latham and Daniel Morris of Lufkin. The groom chose "Feels Like Home" for the first dance; the bride's son chose "Mama" as their dance. The bride's two brothers chose "Faith of Heart" and "You will Always be Loved by Me." The bridal party chose "'80s Lady."

The bride's dress was a white strapless organza A-line gown with apple bands at waist and trim. It featured an apron back with apple satin edge. The veil was white with apple trim and apple embroidery. Her bouquet was made by the bride, of white and red roses with baby's breath, laced with pearl ropes. It was highlighted by charms given to her by her daughter, son, grandson and groom. Attached to the bouquet was a beaded white glove belonging to the groom's late mother, Allyene Lewis of Brownsboro.

Matron of honor was the bride's daughter, Crystal Rhone of Grapeland.

Bridesmaids were Louise Kio of Lufkin and Ashley King of Huntington, friends of the bride.

Flower girls were Madison Fulgham, Morgyn Fulgham, Molly Fulgham all of Brownsboro, great nieces of the groom.

The groom's son, Oran Lewis of Brownsboro, served as best man.

Groomsmen were Stephen Sullivan of Chandler, nephew of the groom and Jonathon Johnson of Chandler, friend of the groom.

A reception was held for the couple in the Athenian Room after the ceremony.

A wedding trip was taken to an undisclosed location.

The couple will make their home in Brownsboro.

An out-of-town guest, Mozell King, was registered from Tennessee Colony.
