Dorothy Helen Olson

A memorial service for Helen Olson, 66, was held February 5, 2007 at Hilliard Funeral Home in Van, Texas. Ms. Olson died February 3, 2007 at her home in Athens, Texas, after a long illness.

She was born in Lawton, Oklahoma October 12, 1940. She grew up in Brownsboro, Texas and lived in Athens the last several years.

Ms. Olson was preceded in death by her father, George Rash, a brother, George "Skipper " Rash, and a grandson, Joey Palafox.

Survivors include daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth Ann and Perry Graf of Kettering, Ohio and daughter, Marilyn Fay Palafox of Grand Prairie, Texas; her mother, Dorothy Opal Rash of Van, Texas; two brothers, Rayburn Rash of Tyler and Lewis Earl Rash; one granddaughter, Erica Villanueva; one grandson, Tony Palafox; and 2 great-grandchildren.
