Former Bearette makes a splash in college softball

Former Brownsboro Bearette athlete Megan Frederick is making a splash on the college sports scene.

Frederick now plays softball for Lon Morris and after two games has helped led the school to a 1-3 record while playing first base.

During last week's play Lon Morris lost 3-1 and 14- 0 to McLennan on Tuesday before playing Grayson on Friday.

In the double header on Friday Lon Morris lost the first game 3-1 before using a come from behind, bottom of the seventh rally to win the second game 10-9.

Megan drove in the tying run before scoring the winning run in Lon Morris's first win of the season. Frederick went 7-9 in the double header with 2 doubles and a triple.
