BMC Baseball is now registering, and will be extending registration to Feb. 24 at the Little Dribblers games in the old intermediate gym from 9am-?, and Feb. 25, at the skills assessment for players at Winchester Park. A late fee will not be charged due to school being closed due to illness. The skills assessment will be held starting at 1pm for sign-up and groups will be called by divisions until done on Feb. 25. Forms are available at the sign-up table, schools, Chandler City Hall, and online at www.leaguelineup.com/bmcbb under the handout section.

East Texas Girls Softball has begun registration for the spring season. Forms are available in all BISD schools, also Copeland Drug and Chandler City Hall. Forms and money can be mailed in or dropped off at the girls Little Dribblers games Feb. 24. The deadline is Feb. 24, and the draft will be March 4. Calling All Girls Softball Coaches If you are interested in coaching this spring, there is a mandatory coaches meeting on Sun., Feb. 25, at 2pm, in the Chandler Community Center. BMC Baseball will be holding its annual draft on Sun., March 4, at the Chandler community Center from 1pm until the end of the draft process. All reserved player forms will be collected prior to draft each division. T-ball draft 1-2pm, Jr. Midget draft 2-3pm, Sr. Midget draft 3-4pm, Freshman and Sophomore draft 4-5pm. "Catch the Reading Wave" is this year's theme for Brownsboro Intermediate's Book Fair to be held Mon., Feb. 26 through Fri., March 2. Family Night will be held Tues., Feb. 27, 5:30pm-7pm.

The Brownsboro Intermediate PTO will meet Tues., Feb. 27, at 6pm. The school's Science Fair begins at 5:30pm.

A Worth the Wait parent meeting for parents with students in Chandler or Brownsboro Intermediate schools will be held Tues., March 6 at 6pm for BIS students, and Tues., March 20, at 6:30pm for CIS students. The program will take place at BIS March 19-30 and at CIS April 2- 13.

The Quilters Guild of East Texas will hold their Day meeting Thurs., March 8, beginning with a 9:30am social followed by the 10am meeting, at the Tyler Area Senior Citizen Association, located at 3402 Old Omen Rd., in Tyler. The Tyler Chapter of the Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA), Chapter 932, meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at Traditions Restaurant, on South Broadway, at 1900 hours. All Vietnam and Vietnam era veterans who served on active duty (for other than training purposes) between 2/28/60 and 5/7/75 (in-country Vietnam) or between 8/5/ 64 and 5/7/75 (for Vietnamera Veterans), and their spouses, are invited to come join us. "Brownsboro Remembered, " a history of Brownsboro written by Dottie Lewis is on sale at Piggy's Too for $15 per copy.

"Chandler - Its History and People" is now on sale for $25 at the Chandler Public Library. The book was published for the Chandler centennial in 1981 and has detailed histories of schools, churches and businesses as well as information about pioneer families of the area.

Boy Scout Troop 342 meets every Monday night, at 6:30pm., at Chandler United Methodist Church. Cub Scouts meet in the youth building of the church at 7pm.

The Moore Station City Council will hold its monthly meetings the 1st Monday of each month at 6pm in the Community Center.

The Kickapoo Creek Kiwanis meets at noon, each Wednesday, at Piggy's Too, located on Hwy 31 in downtown Brownsboro.

The Chandler Lions Club meets every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month in the Chandler Community Center at 7pm. Meetings consist of dinner, meeting and a program. Anyone interested in giving back to the community through the Lions organization is invited to attend.
