Justice for the People

Well, Readers, I am moving up in the world. I got a call from the Congressman of the Fifth District. You know, Jeb Hensarling, that good old boy that knows you and I by name. He knows me so well, he forgot my name.

He invited me to be part of a Town Hall meeting on the phone. It was about 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 15th. I bet you got a call also. The lady said if I pushed `star' on the phone I could ask a question. Something must have went wrong, because all I got was Jeb going on about how bad Social Security was and how he was going to change it. Well, I guess all of us that are retired need to find a job. We may not have our Social Security if he changes it so Big Business can invest a chunk of it. He went on about thirty minutes before I got fed up.

Now I am sure you know that this was no Town Hall meeting. It was just a marketing tool used by Jeb. It was paid for by some lobbies, crony, that wants to steal the bread off your table. I cannot understand why it is necessary for the lie. Does he think that all Senior Citizens are dumb? There was no Town Hall meeting; Jeb was probably having a nice supper with the lobbies, and selling you and I out.
