Men and co-ed softball leagues Spring Softball League registration open

Spring softball registration for adult leagues is now open. The YMCA has opened team registration for Adult Spring softball leagues in Athens. Teams from around the Henderson, Kaufman and Van Zandt county area looking to play softball during the spring are invited to participate in this YMCA recreational league.

Any team desiring to play will need to have a coach/representative at a coaches meeting to discuss league rules and game schedules. The coaches meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 6:30 pm March 6 at the YMCA office. League play is scheduled to begin the week of March 19.

The Athens league will take team registrations for Men, and Co-ed Spring softball leagues. Registrations with a $50.00 team deposit will be accepted at the YMCA office either in person, mail or at the league coaches meeting. Play will be open to men, and co-ed teams; individuals who wish to play should either attend these meetings or submit their name to the YMCA. Each team will need to have a coach/representative at the coaches meeting; the main topic of discussion will be that of in house league rules, schedule and team registration.
