Greatest Archery Shoot in the world comes to East Texas March 10 & 11

Rinehart Targets have asked Bucks & Ducks of Tyler, Texas to host the R100 on March 10 and 11. R100 is the largest 3D Archery Shoot with over one hundred targets. Sixty-five of the targets are those Rinehart sells through Archery Pro Shops, 3D and Competitive Shoots. Thirtyfive area custom targets you will not see anywhere else, such as the 19 ft. giraffe and the 16 ft. "Queen Alien" from the movies Alien and Alien Vs. Predator. It is a fun, family 3D shoot with a chance to win door prizes and some fun competitive events too.

"We are so excited to be asked to host the R100. There are only 19 places hosting in all of the United States. We are the only one in Texas and none of Texas' bordering states are hosting it either. What an honor!

We've already had people calling from Shreveport, Houston, Austin, Dallas, and Little Rock areas. After a person shoots the R100, they will be looking for the closest one the next year to shoot it again," said Jamie Shelton, owner of Bucks & Ducks. "We expect this event to bring as many as 1,000 archery shooters to East Texas."

On site will be reps from Bowtech, Hoyt, Bob Lee Traditional Bows, Bear Bows, and Primos Calls. The reps invite you to come and shoot this year's new bows. Concessions will be available, proceeds go to the Boy Scouts.

A mini Archery Pro Shop will be on hand for quick fixits, arrows, and merchandise for sale. Tickets will be for sale to raffle off a 2007 Hoyt Trykon, 2007 Bowtech Tribute, and a Remington 700 SPS 243 to benefit the Shriner's Burn Hospitals for Children.

The R100 takes place March 10 and 11 (Saturday and Sunday) at North Star Outfitters in Winona, Texas on County Road 356 off of 16E. You can choose to shoot 50 targets or 100 targets. It's recommended you shoot 50 targets per day.
