In nine games against the East Texas Wolves the Texas X-Treme are a perfect 9-0 after their 28-12 victory over the Wolves Saturday night in Brownsboro.

The X-Treme dominated both sides of the ball holding the Wolves to just 84 total yards while racking up 287 yards of offense.

Despite several injuries and inactive players the X-Treme defense continued to play at a high level led by Terry Bonner, Jimmy Wade and Reggie Wilson.

Defensively the X-Treme forced 2 interceptions and 2 fumbles while holding the Wolves to 3 earned first downs.

On the offensive side of the ball the X-Treme rushed for 243 yard as Eric Wren led the team in rushing with 75 yards on 8 carries.

Scores for the X-Treme were made by Wren, Wilson, and Greg Lawson on a pass from Wilson. Kicker Michael Clay kicked two field goals (24, 32 yards) to add to the XTreme lead.

This Saturday the X-Treme will travel to Hope, Arkansas to play the Arkansas Silver Storm. The X-Treme dominated the Silver Storm earlier in the season during a benefit game held in Brownsboro.

The Wolves scored two touchdowns against the XTreme, one coming on a kickoff return and another on a 66 yard offensive drive. Both attempts at two-points conversions were denied.
