Murchison Methodist Women will be sponsoring their Annual Spring Auction & Spaghetti Supper Fri., March 16, at 6pm, at the First United Methodist Church, in Murchison. A Worth the Wait parent meeting for parents with 6th grade students at Chandler Intermediate will be held Tues., March 20, at 6:30pm, in the school's cafeteria. The program will take place April 2- 13.

Attention Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) Early registration for membership in MOPS will take place Tues., March 20, 9:30am-10:30am at 1st Assembly of God in Chandler. Annual White Cane Day will be observed by the Chandler Lions Club Sat., March 24, at intersections in Chandler 8am-11am to collect money to defeat blindness.

The Chandler Lions Club will hold their Spring Pancake Supper Thurs., March 29, 4:30pm-7pm at the Chandler Community Center.

A Fish Fry Fundraiser sponsored by the Chandler PD Explorers will be held in the Chandler Community Center Sat., March 24, 7:30pm until the fish runs out. The fundraiser will help furnish uniforms for new members.

"Brownsboro Remembered, " a history of Brownsboro written by Dottie Lewis is on sale at Piggy's Too for $15 per copy.

"Chandler - Its History and People" is now on sale for $25 at the Chandler Public Library. The book was published for the Chandler centennial in 1981 and has detailed histories of schools, churches and businesses as well as information about pioneer families of the area.
