Nearly 138 Murchison ISD students in grades first through eighth participated in the school's annual Science Fair last week.
"We had a great year," said MISD Science Teacher Gina Byford. "They totally bumped it up a notch this year. I am so proud of these kids."
Science fair topics covered physical, earth and life sciences, and chemistry.
"We spanned the gamut," Mrs. Byford said.
National Honor Society juniors and seniors from Athens High School served as judges for the event.
The following winners were announced during the fair:
