Texas X-Treme blow past Silver Storm

No surprise here as the Texas X-Treme semi-pro football team upended the Arkansas Silver Storm Saturday evening in Hope, Arkansas.

The X-Treme (2-0) dominate the regular season in the Texas United Football League on a regular basis and this season looks to be the same as seasons past.

Despite missing several key players the X-Treme rolled to a 32-0 win over the Storm in their second meeting this season. In their first meeting the game was called in the second quarter as the X-Treme had built a commanding lead.

With an extremely stingy defense the X-Treme held the Storm to 19 total yards of offense in the game, including minus two in rushing.

Offensively the X-Treme blew several chances to score in the redzone. Three times Texas turned the ball over in the redzone.

As a team the X-Treme rushed for 115 yards while passing for 161 yards.

Scoring for the X-Treme were Greg Lawson, Marvin Hopkins and Lontario Osborne.

The X-Treme will host the Wichita Falls Razorbacks on Saturday in Brownsboro at 7:00pm. For more information contact Gary Craig 903- 288-6224.
