Guest Speaker: We were pleased to have Dr. Charles Dodson, Executive Director of Breckenridge Village of Tyler, as our guest Sunday in the pastor's absence. It was an honor as well, to have several of the residents of the facility attending with him in the morning service.

Choir Festival: The WLBC Singin' Saintz Senior Adult Choir will be in Bryan, Texas for the Annual Senior Adult Choir Festival which features Senior Adult Choirs from throughout the state. We are proud of the choir and look forward to their return from this two-day event.

Newest Members: We are pleased to welcome Ken and Anna Richardson to the WLBC.

Singles Class: Sunday was the first day of the newest class which is a part of a continued expansion of classes for young adults. We are pleased to have Bruce and Cindy Fowler who were former missionaries with Family Life Ministries teaching the class.

Marriage Conference: A group of couples from WLBC will attend the "A Weekend to Remember" conference in Grapevine on March 23-24. Contact the church office for further information.

"Thine is the Kingdom" will be presented by the Celebration Choir as the choir Easter musical on April 1st in the evening service.

Spring Softball: The WLBC Co-Ed team plays Monday at 6:30 on Lindsey Field 3 and the WLBC Men's Team plays at 8:20 pm on Field 3 with a 9:15 p.m. game on Field 4.

Discipleship University: The spring semester of DU began with much excitement Sunday and with four class options. "A Man and His Word," an 8-week men's study led by Clayton Nicolardi which meets at 5:00 pm on Sundays; "Living Free," a 6-week Beth Moore study, led by Cindy Pierce, which meets at 4:30 on Sundays; "Following Jesus," an 8- week study for youth led by Keith Davis, which meets at 5:00 p.m. on Sundays; and "For Women Only," a 7-week women's study led by Tanya Essary, which meets on Thursday nights at 7:00.

"Your Life as God Intended ": This Sunday morning sermon series explores the joy, the passion, and the power that God intends for your life as revealed in the Book of II Peter. On Wednesday evenings the sermon series explores the ACTUAL prayer that Jesus prayed in John 17, in a series entitled, "The REAL Prayer of Jesus."

WMU: On Wednesday, March 21, the WMU will hold a monthly birthday party for the Chandler Nursing Center residents.

RA Campout: The RAs held their annual "FreezeOut" camp this past week. We appreciate the leadership of Greg Powell, Neilon Cotten, and Jeff Mason.
