Faith Baptist Chandler
by Melva Allison

The Lord blessed us with another beautiful day of worship on Easter Sunday. We began the day with a very meaningful sunrise worship service at 8:00 a.m. led by our pastor. A delicious breakfast was served following the sunrise service. After breakfast, it was wonderful to see so many children enjoying an Easter egg hunt. The day con- tinued with our regular Bible study and the morning worship service as we celebrated the resurrection of Jesus. The church was filled to capacity as people came to worship. The choir presented special music entitled, "There is Room at the Cross for You," and Bro. David also presented special music.

Let's not only remember what the Lord has done for us on Easter, but every day throughout the year. We are a blessed people!

Several members of our church were out of town visiting family, and other members had family visiting with them. We are always pleased to have so many guests in our services.

Melva and Robert Allison hosted a family lunch with 25 in attendance. After lunch, the children enjoyed hunting eggs, and Caitlyn Allison celebrated her sixth birthday.

The Top of the Hill Gang will be going to Big Pine Lodge in Karnack on April 14. They will leave from the church at 9:00 a.m. This is a fantastic restaruant and anyone interested in going can call Paul Peavy at 849-3099 or Jerry Houston at 849-6791 for additional information.

The monthly adult game night last week was well attended. The group enjoyed lots of good food and games of "42" and "84."

The Hospitality House in Tennessee Colony is our ministry of the month. Items are needed to assist relatives of the prisoners as they travel home. The Hospitality House is in need of cheese and crackers, peanut butter and crackers, peanuts, candy, cookies, and other snack food.

If you do not have a church home and are looking for a loving church family, come join us in our Bible studies, worship services, and other activities.
