West Lake Baptist News Over 500 in Attendance: We shared an exciting, dynamic Easter Sunday service with over 500 in attendance. The fast paced service featured celebratory worship, dynamic music featuring the Celebration Choir, the 7-piece instrumental ensemble, stirring multi-media displays, the praise team, special music and an inspiring message, practical Biblical message by Pastor Eric entitled "Easter Proof Believing." Each guest present received a free CD featuring top Christian music artists along with testimonials. The worship center was adorned with decorative banners and Easter lilies which covered the large stage area. We are excited and grateful for what God continues to do at WLBC week by week. Concert: The Green Acres Baptist Church Orchestra will be in concert at WLBC on Sunday evening, April 29th at 6:30. You're invited to attend this inspiring time of instrumental worship with us fea- turing a variety of traditional and contemporary worship songs. The GABC Orchestra is led by Matt Robb. Newest Members: We gratefully welcome Mareta and Roger Bostick to the WLBC family. We're very appreciative of the many guests God sends our way week by week. Celebrate Recovery: Begins Tuesday, April 10th at 7:00 p.m. This Christ based recovery program developed by Rick Warren's Saddleback Valley Church is offered without cost and is Confidential. The program is not a recruitment tool of WLBC but a ministry provided to community. For more information about the program, contact Kirby Noel. Softball: The Co-Ed Team played in Tyler on Lindsey Field at 6:30, and the men played at 9:30. We are appreciative of the many WLBC members who attend the games to show support for teams.
