SLAMFEST 2007 -- Three Brownsboro High School athletes represented their school at the 2nd Annual Slamfest 2007 held Saturday, April 7, in the Wagstaff Gymnasium at Tyler Junior College. Colin Thompson, Joe Denny, and Monica Redfearn, (L-R center standing holding check) competed in the only HIgh School Basketball 3-Point shootout and slamdunk contest in East Texas. Although the three didn't make it to the final shoot offs, however, Brownsboro High did win for the school with the most spirit and received a check for $1,000 for their Project Graduation Fund which will be used for the 2007 Senior Lock-in.
