Letter to Editor:

Thanks so much for running the wonderful article by George Van Cleave entitled "God bless our troops" in the March 29th edition of The Statesman.

I'm sick of the constant, twisted anti-American sentiment we see in the press these days, so this article was a real blessing! Mr. Van Cleave told it the way it is, and I want to add a hearty "Amen" to his statements.

America is the greatest nation on earth. Her citizens are the kindest and most generous people in the world. And our troops, who routinely sacrifice themselves for others, deserve our highest praise.
