Benny Wiggins Services for Benny Wiggins, 71, Chandler, were held Friday at Burks Walker Tippit Funeral Directors chapel, Tyler, with Brother Keith Lough officiating. Burial was in Tyler Memorial Park. Mr. Wiggins died April 3, 2007 at his residence. He was born Nov. 22, 1935, in Fort Necessity, La., to the late Otis Neal and Gertrude Williams Wiggins. He served in the U.S. Navy and lived in Chandler for 26 years. He retired as a tool pusher from Scan Drill, and was a member of Sunrise Assembly of God Church. He was preceded in death by a son, Donnie Neal Wiggins, and grandchildren, Michael Dewayne Wiggins, Harley Michelle Wiggins and Donnie Wayne Wiggins. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Pauline Beatrice Wiggins, Chandler; sons, Jimmy Wayne Wiggins, Midland, and Roger Dale Wiggins, Jefferson; sisters, Betty Knight, Odessa, Kathryn Townsend, Joyce, La., Martha Getlinger, New Port Richey, Fla., Pam Guin, Ringgold, La.; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Marty Du'Broc, Denver Nichols, John Irby, Eddie Irwin, Kelly Dodd and Donald Ford.
