CAREER DEVELOPMENT
Numerous members of the Brownsboro High School Ag Department's Livestock Judging Team attended the Area VIII CED (Career Development Events) in Stephenville, Texas last week. They were very successful in their competition with five other teams. In Dairy Cattle Judging they placed 3rd in District; Dairy Foods - 2nd in District; Livestock Judging - 4th in District, Poultry Judging - 1st in District; and Horse Judging - 1st in District and also 1st in Area VIII out of 65 teams to advance to the State contest to be held April 21, in Lubbock. The Horse Judging Team consisted of Draper Foster, 6th high individual; Rusty Lawrence, 7th high individual; Chase Beam, 15th high individual; and Samantha Herrington.
