Bears earn second district win in extra innings over Chapel Hill
      Late inning heroics once again propelled the Varsity Bears to a win as they defeated Chapel Hill 3-2 in eight innings last Tuesday in Chapel Hill. With the game tied at two in the top of the seventh the Bears appeared ready to take the lead in the final inning of regulation.

      As part of the "April in Edom" city event there will be a softball game pitting the coaches of Brownsboro High School against the coaches of Van High School. The "grudge match" will take place on Saturday, April 21 at 10:00am at the baseball field in Edom next to the community center.
