Robert Joseph Trimble

Graveside services for Mr. Robert Joseph Trimble, 84, Tyler, Texas, were held Wednesday, April 18, 2007, at Concord Cemetery, Chandler, under the direction of Chandler Memorial Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Goble officiated.

Mr. Trimble died April 15, 2007; he was born October 14, 1922.

He attended Wellington, Texas public schools. He had lived in Tyler - Smith County for about 8 years and formerly in Grand Prairie for about 30 years. He served in the United States Army during World War II, and retired from Fox and Jacob as a carpenter.

Preceding him in death was his wife, Nellie B. Trimble.

Survivors are sons, Michael Trimble of the Dallas/Ft. Worth area; Robert Trimble and wife Tricia of Amarillo, Jerry Trimble of Arlington and Jim Trimble of Tyler; daughters, Linda Westerfield and husband Roger of Keller, Debbie Grindstaff and husband Charles of Tyler, Kay Shelton and husband Lynn of Amarillo; brother, John Trimble of McAllen; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

Sons served as pallbearers.
