UIL REGIONAL WINNERS BHS seniors Emily Williams and Jay Metlicka were among several BHS students that competed at the UIL Regional level Saturday, at Texas A&M Commerce. Metlicka, a foreign exchange student from the Czech Republic, placed second in the Science competition and will go on to State competition in Austin next month. Williams placed 6th in Headline writing. Only those students who place in the top three go on to State.
