Brownsboro vs Van softball grudge match

As part of the "April in Edom" city event there will be a softball game pitting the coaches of Brownsboro High School against the coaches of Van High School.

The "grudge match" will take place on Saturday, April 21 at 10:00am at the baseball field in Edom next to the community center.

Last year the Brownsboro coaches won in a landslide and hope to repeat their performance.

Proceeds from the game will go towards the Edom Scholarship fund. Admission is $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.

Brownsboro Athletic Director John Settle mentioned he and his coaching staff are looking forward to the event and remaining undefeated against the Van coaches.

Van Athletic Director Brady Pennington told the Van Banner "We are looking forward to having a great game with a lot of friendly competition. We will try to keep up with all of Brownsboro's big bats. This event is for a great cause and we are looking forward to participating."

The City urges everyone to come out and watch the game and cheer on your local coaching staff.
