End-of-School events fill May calendar

The final days of the 2006-07 school year are swiftly approaching and May's calendar is filling up with end-of-school-year activities and events.

The last day of school is Friday, May 25.

On Monday, May 7, the Athletic Banquet will be held in the High School gym at 6pm.

The Brownsboro Junior High National Junior Honor Society Induction will take place Monday, May 7, at 7pm, at the Junior High School.

The Ag/FFA Banquet will be held Tuesday, May 8, at 6:30pm, in the High School cafeteria.

The Academic Awards reception is scheduled for Thursday, May 10, at 7pm, in the Theatre annex.

On Tuesday, May 15, beginning at 7pm, the 8th Grade and High School Band Concerts will be held in the High School gym. The 6th and 7th Grade Spring Band Concerts will be held Thursday, May 17, at 7pm. also in the High School gym.

Brownsboro Junior High School awards presentations will be held Wednesday, May 16, in the gymnasium beginning at 8:30 a.m.

The Class of 2007 Senior Brunch will take place Wednesday, May 16, at Faith Baptist Church, of Brownsboro, at 9:30am.

On Saturday, May 19, the Final Curtain Players will hold their Drama Awards presentation in the Final Curtain Players theater, beginning at 7pm.

The graduating Class of 2007 Baccalaureate is scheduled for Sunday, May 20, at 6pm, in the High School gym.

Induction into the National Honor Society will be held Monday, May 21, at 7pm, in the High School's Little Theater.

Graduation practice will be held Thursday, May 24, at Tyler Junior College, at 10am.

Chandler Elementary end-of-year awards will be Thursday, May 24, Kindergarten and 1st grade at 8:30am, and 2nd and 3rd grades, at 10am.

Brownsboro Elementary, and Brownsboro and Chandler Intermediate schools have planned their end-ofyear awards for Friday, May 25, at 9am in the school's gymnasiums.

Senior Awards will be handed out Friday, May 25, at 2pm, in the High School gym.

Graduation is Saturday, May 26, at 2pm, in Tyler Junior College's Wagstaff gym.
