Foster Parent Association garage sale this weekend

The Henderson County Foster Parent Association will be having a garage sale on Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5 at Union Hill Baptist Church in Brownsboro. The sale will start at 8:00 a.m. each day and close at 4 p.m. All proceeds from the sale will be used to send foster children to camp, play sports, piano lessons, dance lessons, etc. The Balloon release will be held on Saturday at noon.

Henderson County currently has 180 foster children in care and only 10 foster homes. Foster children from Henderson County are forced to live in other counties because of the shortage of homes. If you feel you are being called to this service, please contact your local CPS office for information.
